Compare Versions makes webpage monitoring easy. Click Add Webpages in the menu and paste a URL — see Add webpages.

Pages people usually track

  • Pricing, fees, and rate pages
  • Policy, terms, and product pages
  • Help articles and other reference pages
  • PDF links, added the same way as a webpage — see PDF pages

What a check is for

  • A saved snapshot, and a highlighted diff when the content changes. See Daily checks and the Diff viewer.
  • Content changes, not whether a server is up. This is not an uptime checker.
  • A page that asks you to log in may not return the content you wanted. Checks keep running for the pages that do load. If a page is waiting on robots.txt, see Robots.txt.
