Home loan interest rates

Last updated August 25, 2026

The table below summarises owner-occupier pricing for borrowers making principal-and-interest repayments on loans up to 80% loan-to-value ratio. Investor, revolving-credit, and interest-only rates are available on request.

Fixed rates — owner occupier

Term Interest rate Comparison rate
1 year fixed 6.69% p.a. 6.94% p.a.
2 year fixed 6.19% p.a. 6.58% p.a.
3 year fixed 6.34% p.a. 6.70% p.a.
5 year fixed 6.59% p.a. 6.88% p.a.

Variable rate — owner occupier

The standard variable rate for new owner-occupier loans is 7.14% p.a. with a comparison rate of 7.31% p.a. Offset and packaged pricing may reduce the effective rate when eligibility criteria are met.

Comparison rates are calculated using a standard example and can help you compare the cost of different products, but they do not include every possible fee, redraw scenario, or lender mortgage insurance premium. Break fees may apply if you repay a fixed-rate loan early.

Special rates may require a minimum 20% deposit, salary crediting, or a linked transaction account.

Interest rates and loan criteria can change daily in response to wholesale funding and Reserve Bank settings.

Applications are subject to credit assessment, property valuation, and responsible lending requirements.
